Secrets to Becoming a Successful Hairdresser

Hairdressing is design. Whether you cut your hair, comb it or color it. Stylists use their creativity and technical skills to provide a professional and creative customer service. Many hairdressers may not be aware of all the decisions regarding the design they take. But, like the painter in front of the canvas, the stylist is a hair artist, and must learn the basic language and then adapt his knowledge appropriately to each situation, leaving the mark of his personal style in hair salon training.

The basic principles of design help the hairdresser in practical situations, and allow him to continue developing his creativity, the performance of his salon and to assert his credibility. The basic design is essential for a clear awareness of lines, shapes, proportions, balance, and patterns of creation. This extends to any creative task the stylist performs, including hair analysis, cutting the hair mannequin head, drying, styling.

It is also important to learn the basic principles of color theory, to confidently use the dye in the salon and think about the decoration of the hairdressing salon. It is very easy to color a client with color registration cards, it is a purely technical work and does not allow to develop the creativity.

There are other issues that influence the design of hair, and there comes into play the shape of the face, and the physical features. The art of visagism takes its place. The face is the first thing we see of a person, it is a cover letter, and it also speaks about us. But few beauty professionals took the time to learn techniques to interpret it and correct certain factions with the help of makeup, cutting the hair practice head and styling.

A good stylist should keep records of their jobs. New styles created in the classroom or in the school where the student performs his training should be recorded as evidence of his artistic potential and technical skills. Once the cut or hairstyle was performed, and the client left the room, there are no traces of the displayed creativity. So, unless it is photographed, it will be lost forever. In addition, periodic photographic sessions of the work carried out by professional photographers should be scheduled.
