How to Make Sculptured Nails Step By Step at Home?

It is not necessary that you are an expert in nails to be able to make sculptured nails, but you will need to be very careful and practice a little before doing it in real nails. For this you can use a mold of those who use who are preparing to exercise this trade and the best thing is that it is reusable and super economic, so you can prepare before the final application.

Now, once you gather all the supplies, make sure that your work area is clear, illuminated and very well ventilated since the gases released by the acrylic could intoxicate you if you do not take this into account. With that said, let's start:

1.Clean the nails. With a cotton soaked in acetone or remove polish, remove any remaining paint on your nails. If you have pieces of acrylic from previous works, you should also remove them with warm water and an orange stick.

2.Cut and shaping with the nail tools. Once the surface of your nails is impeccable, cut and lighten them to give them the perfect shape so you can apply the acrylic on top.

3.Cut the cuticles If you prefer, you can push them back as far as you can. Take care that the white remains under it also come out and do not get in the way so you can apply the acrylic more diligently.

4. File the surface and apply a disinfectant. With the nail polish, lightly sand the surface of your nails until the layer of grease that forms on it is eliminated. Of course, you should not reduce the volume of the nail, it has to be a smooth movement with the nail and with the cuticle.

5.Place the sticker bases. Detach the template of your seal and join it to form the angle you want and that suits the size and the undulation of your nail. Fix it well and check that there is no space between the nail and the base.

6.Apply the acrylic Carefully by soaking the brush in the acrylic gel of your nail art set and then the powder until a manageable drop in the brush tip is formed. Apply it at the base of the nail with the nail art set and spread it on it, giving it an almond shape.

7.Apply the second layer with the professional nail tools. To achieve the length you want, you must wait for the almond shape to dry and then apply a new layer to sculpt the nail. Repeat if necessary, depending on the length and thickness you are looking for.

8.Remove the mold and file the sculpted nail. Once the acrylic layers dry, remove the moldable base and with the file polish the sides and the tip of the sculpted nail.

9.Turning the sculpted fingernail. With a turner (and if you do not have, with a conventional file) file and reduce the surface of the nails to bring them to the size you want. This will be the final finish of the nail shape.

10.Apply the design with the professional nail tools. Use the enamel inlays that you like. If you are going to use glitter for nails, remember to apply an extra layer of gel to seal it with the nail tools and that the design lasts longer. Finally, use one or two layers of clear enamel.
