Part 1: A Complete Guide to Make a French Manicure

What is a French Manicure?
A French Manicure is an elegant manicure with nails of nude or pink color and a white end.

The white color is applied on the free edge of the nail and the pink or nude on the rest of the surface of the nail. It has been created for people who want whiter and brighter nails.

How to perform a French manicure?
First, the nail should have a nice round, with a picture always in the same direction and nails of the same size. Very smooth nails will make it possible to obtain a perfect rendering. You will use for this a polisher.

Remember to start by soaking your fingers in hot water, or even milk or olive oil and then easily push back the cuticles with a nail drill but avoid the metal that would damage the cuticle. 'nail). Dry well and remove all traces of dust.

As for any manicure, you apply a base which will facilitate the adhesion of the varnish . A calcium base or hardener will be perfect for the varnish to last longer.

You start by drawing a white bow at the end of the nails. Keep in mind that the shorter the nail is, the slimmer the band should be.

With Pen
The French pen contains white nail polish and facilitates the application at the end of the nails following the rounding. It allows easy and fast application for more precision.

With stickers
Rounded stickers or "smile" help you to make your French Manicure, they simply stick on the end of the nail and then fill with white varnish. The stickers come off easily once the white polish is dry.

You then place the nude or rosy varnish over the entire surface of the nail even on the white part, only one coat is needed.

Then you put the top coat for a good hold of your French Manicure.

If your nails are brittle and short, you can use capsules ( see my selection of capsules ) with a gel or resin before doing the French Manicure. You can go to the beautician for this step or do it with a nail art kit. Accessories for the French Manicure are included in some fake nail art kits.

An adhesive tape will do the trick if you have the creative soul. You draw a straight line after leaving the open end and you apply the white varnish on this area. You remove the ribbon once the varnish has dried well.

The moleskin pads you use to protect yourself from blisters on your feet can also help you get your French Manicure. They will allow you to varnish in rounded, once the dry varnish you can remove them.
