5 Tips for Makeup of Droopy Eyelids

The makeup of drooping eyelids is an art ... which is not reserved for professionals, fortunately. Discover our makeup tips to get around the difficulties and give a new look to your eyes.

1 / Light touch

As often when there is a need to correct a defect, bet on a game of Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette to lift your eyelids and open your eyes.

- Ask a hint of blush color champagne, rosewood or pearly illuminator, the inner corner of the eye by forming a horizontal V. Extend this light button under the lower eyelid, under the iris.

- Complete by adding illuminator on the arch of the brow bone.

2 / Line of a liner

- Prefer the use of a gel liner to that of the felt. Its fast drying texture makes it less likely to stain your drooping eyelid by opening your eyes. Alternatively, place your mirror on a low cabinet. You will then be forced to lower your eyes, and therefore to stretch your eyelids, to make up your makeup.

- Limit your line to the last two-thirds of the eyelid, with more emphasis on the outer corner of the eye. The trick for a lifting effect: end with a cherry tail. For a seamless pattern, first, draw a landmark where the line ends. Then connect it to the outer corner of the eye, voila.

- To avoid narrowing the eye, replace your line of black liner under the lower eyelid with a hot or dark color, such as black, copper, aubergine or navy blue. Highlight the flush of the eyelashes with a brush, then blur.

3 / Banana fold

With drooping eyelids, the hollow of the eyelid is almost invisible. The idea is to create your own banana fold (hollow between the mobile and fixed eyelids).  In front of a mirror, look straight ahead, and scan the area from left to right with a dark shadow. Use a round brush with soft bristles, for a smooth gesture.

4 / Eyeshadow

Give depth to your eyes by sculpting the drooping eyelid with a warm-toned look. Apply the Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette just above the crease, keeping your eyes open. It is possible for an evening to stretch the color towards the top of the fixed part, but remember to stop before the arch of the brow bone.

5 / The makeup base

Less toned, the skin of drooping eyelids tends to have a crumpled appearance. To get a nickel make-up, bet on the use of a make-up base. It will smooth the eyelid and as a bonus boost the pigments of your makeup. Note that you can wear it alone, just to wake up.
